We try to breed baby guinea pigs from the most laid back parents with short to mid hair length which are ideal as pets, as they require less grooming.
We crossed a long haired cury coated (texel) with a Rex (short haired) and have managed to breed what we call a "Rexel" their natures are superb and their coats are shorter but curly or wavy and they look just like coloured teddies which is great for kids and they are easy to handle.

All our  baby guinea pigs home bred, all different colours and types.  can be booked till weaning.

Our guinea pigs are bred indoors and are used to a warm environment. They cannot go outdoors till the temperature has reached 10 degrees both day and night. If put outside now they would become ill as they cannot cope with sudden temperature change. We sometimes have second hand indoor cages for sale which will be fine till the weather warms up.

we will normally sell as at least a pair unless 1 is company for another guinea pig.
it is advisable not to put your guinea pig in with a rabbit - rabbits play and kick and can kill a guinea pig.
Feed a good quality guinea pig mix or nugget, not rabbit food as it doesnt have enough vitamin C which guineas need.

There are plenty of good websites that give excellent information on guinea pig care, help with illness and veterinary problems. We strongly advise prospective purchasers to research the breed and husbandry before purchase.

POLITE NOTICE
we have had to introduce livery charges at £1.00 per day if the guinea pig that you have placed a deposit on is not collected within 1 week of being ready. After this period livery fees will be deducted out of the deposit paid and is non refundable.We have found ourselves out of pocket as prospective owners either dont pick up, forget or go on holiday and we have been left to feed and care for them at our expense. This also applies to guinea pigs that are ready to go, if you cant take them immediatley because of holidays etc, please wait till you come back before you pick a guinea pig unless you are willing to pay livery fees.
