Scallywagzs Terms and ConditionsDistance selling regulations 2000.
Under the new regulations Scallywagzs will offer a 7 day cooling off period if you should change your mind regarding your order placement. We will refund any monies paid within 30 days of written cancellation of order and item being returned in satisfactory condition.
Most items will be sent either by 1st class post,recorded delivery or by signed for courier service to reduce loss of items during transit.
If you are not happy with your purchase when it arrives please confirm in writing within 7 days of reciept. After this time you will not be able to return the item unless under manufacturers warranty should the item fail.
We will then issue you with a return address. Items must be sent back using a courier or registered post. Please allow up to 30 days (normally sooner)for any refund to be processed. Under the DSRs you must take reasonable care of the item and pay the cost of returning the item.
We will pay the cost of sending out a replacement item should the need arise. If the returned item is not in the same new condition as it was sent then we reserve the right to levy a charge to cover this, and it will be deducted from any refunds.
Checking item upon delivery.
Please check the item in front of the courier. If you cannot physically do this please sign delivery document as 'unchecked'. If you find that the item has been damaged in transit you must sign the document damaged for us to make a claim against the courier. We must be notified of any damage in writing by email within 24hrs along with photographic evidence of the damaged item, and the packaging.
Orders. Must be placed through the website as our helpline is for enquiries only. All payments are made through paypal merchant services which are fully protected and secure.
Please allow up to 7 working days for delivery. When we are very busy things can take a little longer so please allow for this. It is our aim to dispatch items as quickly as possible, normally within 1-3 days of purchase subject to stock levels. If your item is not in stock or there is a delay we will notify you and alternative arrangements can be made for a refund or a similar product.
We do our best to ensure that your item arrives on time and in good condition. If however there is a problem, we will do our best to resolve it in a polite and professional manner.
